Editorial and review policy
Our standard for useful, accurate, independent admissions-prep content.
Source hierarchy
We use official testing-organization pages, candidate guides, specifications, and policy documents for exam format, timing, scoring, registration, and rules. Secondary sources may help identify a topic but do not replace primary-source verification.
Writing and review
- Each guide is written for a specific applicant question and must provide an actionable answer.
- Exam facts are checked against the linked primary source before publication.
- Strategy advice is labeled as BDALab guidance and avoids guarantees.
- Pages receive publication and update dates.
- Material involving changed specifications is reviewed when the official organization posts an update.
AI-assisted work
Software may assist with drafting, editing, or consistency checks. A human-controlled publishing process remains responsible for source selection, factual claims, usefulness, and final approval. We do not publish large batches of unreviewed pages.
Testimonials and outcomes
We publish testimonials or score outcomes only with permission and enough context to avoid a misleading impression. We do not currently publish unverified student-result claims. No preparation service can guarantee an exam score or admission.
Corrections
When a material error is identified, we correct the page and update its review date. Readers can report an issue through BDALab support.
